As the disciples were fishing, they saw Jesus walking toward them – on top of the water! Peter stepped out of the boat to try walking on water too. But he was scared, and when he looked away from Jesus, Peter started to sink! Jesus helped Peter and asked him to trust. Peter and the disciples believed and told others about Jesus, God’s Son.
Dear Jesus, help me to always keep my eyes on you — not my fears. Amen.
