As part of our annual Christmas, celebrations we hold a number of special events that are open to all in the Champaign Urbana area.

2020

Virtual Nativity Walk

Our annual Nativity Walk went virtual this year! Settle in on the couch with a hot chocolate and watch our 15th Nativity Walk from the comfort of your home. The Virtual Nativity will be available for the entire holiday season.

Drive-Thru Live Nativity

Even in a pandemic year we can still celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. December 6 was Good Shepherd’s annual Live Nativity. The celebration was a drive-thru event complete with live animals, actors, and the story of the miraculous birth. Below is a sampling of the event.

A Message from Father Mina of the Coptic Church

Good Shepherd Lutheran hosts St. Mina & St. Pope Kyrillos VI Coptic Orthodox Church in our Fellowship Hall (when our building is open.) Father Mina recorded this special message. http://www.stminachampaign.org/
